National Instruments PCI-843x Serial Interfaces are 100 percent compatible with standard PC serial ports. NI PCI-843x high-performance PCI serial interfaces deliver minimal CPU usage with DMA to the PCI bus. They also offer advanced features such as customizable baud rates up to 3,000 kbits/s to within 1 percent accuracy, as well as universal PCI, hyperthreading, and multiprocessor compatibility. Two- and four-port devices are also available with high-voltage isolation.
